Spooky Update

Happy Halloween!

The flu has run through my family and October was quite a blur. My laptop, the poor thing, has finally broken enough to warrant a fixin’. I ignored the cracked screen and intermittent touchpad failure, but I draw the line at half the keyboard failing.

I’ve added some Powershell scripts to my Github that felt general enough to be useful to others. I obviously can’t share everything I write at my employer, but these felt pretty safe. I got around to adding the couple scripts on this blog to their own repository as well.

Got the desktop Proxmox deployed again with GPU passthrough for gaming.

I discovered FRP is darn near impossible to bypass and I installed LineageOS on an old Motorola.

And of course as an IT pro, I’ve been busy with Windows update, an AWS outage, and an Azure outage.

I never did get around to writing about vibe coding, but I should have my react front-end finished soon (not AI generated).
